CEO, FOUNDER & HEAD AGENT

Originally from Vancouver, Shalini is a Certified Makeup Artist and Aesthetician. Trained in Beauty and Special FX Makeup for TV and Film; she has worked on various TV and Film productions alongside teaching Makeup, Special FX and Character Creations to teens. 

Having previously worked as a  Commercial and Background Talent Agent, Shalini was involved in the Hollywood North film and tv world in one way or another. Eventually she decided shift to her training as an Aesthetician, launching a successful Organic Skincare and Beauty Wellness company Black Cat Beauty which retailed handmade to order products online and in store. 

After successfully running that company for a few years, Shalini decided to shift back into the film world again thus launching DK Management an all inclusive talent agency for TV & Film in North America, Event Management and Production company. Her goal is to focus on building amazing rosters of talent Canada wise; striving to make this one of the best companies to be apart of.   

Deborah Jopling is our Commercial Agent for our Kids & Families Division in BC. 

She comes to us with 30 years of experience working in various departments at Simon Fraser University and is now ready to shift careers and dive into the Hollywood North Industry. 

Having years of experience supporting  her daughter Makenna's successful career in the Film & TV industry, Deborah  has gained the much needed know - how when it comes to being a strong advocate and supporter for performers. 

As in her previous career where she would go above and beyond for students and staff members, we have no doubt that Deborah will do the same for each and every one of her performers.

Erica is not only one of our Talent Scout's but with over 20 years of dance experience she will be heading our Dance Division as our new Dance Agent. 

With her experience in casting for Punjabi and Bollywood films having been shot in Vancouver. Erica definitely has a eye for talented dancers! 

When she’s not working as an agent or scouting new talent for us. She works behind the scenes as a makeup artist, Erica does most of the Casting for True Roots Productions which is a Punjabi/Hindi Bollywood Company. She has had the pleasure of working with the Biggest stars in India. 

We are so excited to have Erica grow and head this division with us!

Carolyn is one of our Talent Scouts for the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas in BC. 

She loves seeing people succeed as they pursue their passions. Having previous on set experience in TV & Film, she knows the time and commitment it takes to work in the hustle and bustle of the growing Hollywood North industry. Carolyn will be scouting for local talent for our various divisions. 

She is grateful and privileged to be living and working on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish people.

Erica is another one of our Talent Scouts for the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas in BC. 

She comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the Vancouver Film Industry. In that time, Erica has worn various hats in the industry such as doing Background Extra work, Acting, Wardrobe, Hair & Makeup and Casting. 

When she’s not working behind the scenes as a makeup artist, Erica does most of the Casting for True Roots Productions which is a Punjabi/Hindi Bollywood Company. She has had the pleasure of working with the Biggest stars in India. 

Known for her excellent ability to spot talent, Erica will be out and about scouting amazing new performers for our growing divisions!
